R&R

Day started off rather early. Went to ICA building at 7.45 to get my biometric passport for the US trip. Doors opened at 8 and I was done and out by 8.15. Really efficient.

Went to Marina Square for a leisurely breakfast at Swensens. Upon receiving the bill, saw that it was only $4. o.0 Apparently the staff key wrongly. Went back to pay the remainder. Not too sure if it was a good thing considering it got that staff into trouble. Oh no....

Popped by Prints and spent rather long picking and choosing my paper product to buy. Everything was so beautiful. splurged on a $24 red folder made of fabric. Badly wanted to buy this box of colored paper for $32 but that was outta budget.

Nipped off to Bishan to bind some notes before going to Vivo city for a more economical lunch at Kopitiam. Dropped by Candy Palace and bought some new flavours of Ritter Sport. Spent 2 more of my free tickets on a movie: The Forbidden Kingdom. Here's my take on it:
Personally, I felt it was too fast. The storyline/plot was so straightforward and rather flat or even corny. Lots of fighting scenes that became rather dreary. The white witch and swallow were rather interesting characters that I felt could be further developed. Esp. the white witch. Perhaps a bit more background about her and why she was working for the Jade Warlord or how she knew Swallow.

While waiting for the movie, indulged myself in Haagen Dazs. Blew $38. Mango sobert, coffee and vanilla ice-cream were delicious. Hmmm.

Wanted to go to a Jap restaurant for dinner but due to budget constrains, ended up at Hans. Food wasn't really nice.

Rather relaxed day. Would have to make up for it with a whole day of work tomorrow. =(

What is done will return again

Will I ever be free?

CCT week has been hectic as ever. And honestly, I see no motivation in what is to come after the CCTs. Weirdly, I have been falling asleep so early these few days whenever I try to study. Other than that, I've just been plain busy with doing stuff for people. Even tonight...just before SS CCT, which I haven't studied at all. So many bloody things to do for other people that ends up compromising hours of my own study time. I'm so going to fail. And I really can't.

Today's APR was just plain brutal. 3.78. Yes. Honestly, that really isn't anything to be too happy about. Especially Chinese and SS. Oh how I despise that subject.

Oh, and I'm permanently in a terrible mood these days so insensitive jerks, please just get lost.

Start of the horrors

Ok, I'm really convinced that teachers are all out to kill us. Just look at the slew of tests and performance and that oh-so-wonderful social advoc project. Hm

Spent the whole day jumping between Geog and Chem. Both equally important and both equal favorites. Was going a bit mad in class with all the subject hopping. Chem didn't go as bad as expected but I over mugged a lot and ended up forgetting simple things like test for hydrogen and ended up memorizing dot-cross diagrams for KNO3 and MgSO4....urgh

Almost died at rugby support. Thanks to certain people who decided to make me stand on an old table and tug/pull/shake the table. -.-

As if

I really shouldn't been blogging now. To quote, "As if I haven't got enough on my plate and now this!"

Today went really fast. Was calculating GPA for most of the academic period trying to see how badly I did. My English was really going badly with a slew of 3.6s. Estimated my Chem and Bio marks. With luck, I shall get more than 3.6. Muahahahaha.

Was rather happy for the first period cause I could understand everything owl was taking about at last (love wind system way more than tectonics). She was giving crash courses for ACJC Geog, of which most came out. And RI won 4th year running. Yay!

Chem was ok, at least could follow with all the id-id interaction and covalent bonding. CCT coming soon.

Plague of my life returned for English and I really had it with him. 忍无可忍了。
As if I didn't have enough on my plate

Physics was practice. Urgh, my fear. CCK was quite nice actually when he took time to explain best fit to me after lesson.

Chionged to RE with owl. Ended up talking crap and asking about GeogRA and SS. Going to get quiz on turtles.

Went to support ACJC Geog Quiz. Could have sworn I could pass the paper. Had some nice food there. Quiz round was really exciting and some questions were really plain easy. So much for level 6 (hardest) questions that we found in our Sec 2 worksheets. Ha. Anyway, I was only there to support. :( *Feels rather inferior against all the pros* XD

Came back for NCC. Doing mutual tests. Really badly done I would say today. CZ and AW came to watch. o.0

Went to buy 10l worth of juice and 30l of sprite and 6X16 tubs of mango pudding for ORA Day. Had fun carrying them back to RI. Went home at abot 8.30.

Then, Kailun called me and told me all about that stupid stupid open house thing. Argh! AS IF I DIDN'T HAVE ENOUGH ON MY PLATE! Now, just simply dying trying to cope with everything. :'(
